On February 6th-7th 2020, the SCALINGS partners met in Vienna to discuss their progress within phase 2 of the project. A particular focus was placed on the scientific research on which the partners have been working intensively over the past few months. In preparation for the workshop, all partners distributed draft papers beforehand. During the workshop, 15 papers were presented by one of the co-authors, before the plenum discussed issues, open questions and/or dissenting opinions with the authors.
Besides organizational matters, one session – under the title “Coming to terms with the notion of ‘co-creation’” – was dedicated to the ongoing discussion about the concept of co-creation. After six partners gave brief, five-minute-inputs as an introduction, the plenum tried to find common ground on the value, the interpretation and the necessity of “co-creation”.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement 788359.
